La Serrania: Tai Chi, Mountain Walks and Reflexology, Helen Vines, Tim Pennell, Jane Marsden

Using imagery inspired from our own life experience and imagination, we’ll explore fundamental painting principles, along with a fresh approach to working more freely and intuitively. We’ll work on a series of wood panels, at times painting simultaneously on more than one piece, which leaves little time to worry about success or failure. Working in this way helps us avoid the tendency to overly focus and constrict the creative process.

Through the six Artplane principles, value, design, color, texture, risk and soul, we’ll create our own unique artwork, inviting intuition and spontaneity. Generous time will be given for experimentation with new tools, mediums, and techniques. No previous art experience is necessary and all are welcome.

There will also be plenty of time to explore this magical island or just to relax and unwind by the pool, with optional group outings, hiking, swimming and sharing evening meals together, (not to mention late night painting sessions, usually involving chocolate and wine.)

A short list of materials will be provided upon registration. Come prepared for a whirl of self expression, and discover ways to make creativity more central in your life!
